Ad Calendas Graecas Sermon against the Sin of Hurry

The book contains 59 woodcuts (23 full-page woodcuts + 36 smaller ones). It is bound in a non-original all-leather light grey binding with a thin gilt line on the boards and a gilt title on the spine (bound by Jenda Rajman, 1892–1965, art bookbinder). At the bottom of the title page, the number 12 is written in pencil, indicating the number of the copy. A total of 17 prints were issued, not all coloured. On the back of the sheet with the last woodcut is the artist's inscription in blue ink: "Completed in April 1939. Josef Váchal." The book is stored in a blue cardboard case. The total number of pages is 208. Published in the book "Holt si to musíte dát dovázat, jinej exemplář už není: Josef Váchal ve sbírce Viléma Trmala" (P. Hájek, Prague 2019, p. 14).
