Zelená hora

Anna Martinková is a gifted student of Rony Plesl's Studio of Glass at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. She has already been collecting awards during her studies. The presented work, Zelená hora, comes from a winning series of the Czech International Student Design 2023 – Outstanding Student Design Award. One of the works of this series even made it to the White House. The presented work is a tribute to Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel. Martinková finds inspiration in mathematics and geometry, and her works uniquely cross the border between applied design and independent art.

The work will be presented at the Young Selection exhibition of the Prague Art Week festival (Savarin Palace, 5-8 September 2024). From Monday, 9 September, it will be exhibited at the Artslimit presale exhibition at KODL Gallery. It comes directly from the artist's studio. All proceeds will be used to support her work.
