Dear bidders,
thank you for your patronage and another successful auction, which reached 90%. The total bidding price of CZK 10,598,000 was increased to an impressive CZK 24,015,000. Among the most expensive works sold were two masterpieces by V&aacute;clav &Scaron;p&aacute;la. The first was an oil on canvas "Bouquet of Polyanthus", for which the new owner paid CZK 837,500. The other was an oil on cardboard "Still life with fruit", which sold for CZK 487,500.
Collector's gems also attracted great interest, including a Rolex Datejust Tridor watch and a limited edition Calatrava Officer by Patek Philippe, issued on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the prestigious watch brand. The highest price increase was recorded by the PRIM TYCHO BRAHE KOSMOS watch from ELTON hodin&aacute;řsk&aacute; a.s., whose price rose by an incredible 442% (starting price CZK 90,000, achieved price CZK 487,500).
The sale of purchased items takes place in the KODL Gallery from Tuesday 24 September, always by appointment on weekdays between 10:00 and 18:00. You can also pay on the spot by card.

Attached is the expertise of prof. T. Vlček, CSc., in whose upcoming monograph (the Arbor Vitae publishing house) the work will be published. It was presented at the Czech modern art exhibition Vergangene Zukunft: Tschechische Avantgarde 1902&ndash;1945 in the K&uuml;nstelerhaus, Vienna (19. 11. 1993 &ndash; 9. 1. 1994) and under cat. No. 112 at the same exhibition in the Frederician, Kassel (30. 1. &ndash; 20. 3. 1994).
